Well, i was blowing the gasket between the tubo and exhaust manifold, so i wanted to replace them IOT get the car safetied (wouldn't of passed due to exhaust leak). Ended up not being able to use the turbo i bought, so i but the old ones back on with new gaskets.

Just finished the job tonight, and when i started her up, i had smoke coming from the outside of the turbo, more specifically, i assume it's the one that provides oil to the turbo (on top), due to the turbo leaking above the banjo bolt. eventually shut the car off. started her back up, and the turbo barely smoked anymore, and eventually stopped completely.

I proceeded to drive around to see how it looked and the turbo sounded great (to the ears of a noob). but i noticed i was loosing power when i'd hammer the throttle, even in 1st, i'd lose all power at 4k RPM WOT, and it sounded like the BOV would just stay open.

I went to park the car and i had smoke coming out the headlights. I don't know what to do anymore, i need the car fixed cause i leave ontario on the 23rd and i need it to drive back to hali.

 

NVM on the loss of power part, found the boost leak. Ended up forgetting to tighten the hose that goes from the turbo to the IC at the IC. Air was just leaking out of there when it'd come under boost.

Still have the smoke problem though. It's unnoticeable while driving but shen i come to stop and turn the car off it just poors out the headlights and hood scoop.
