Driver side window motor help!
So I took out my regular to clean it up and grease it since it wouldn't go up all the way. But when putting it back together, as soon as I plugged in the connector to the motor, it automatically went down and doesn't come back up!
The motor started smoking slightly, and it got hot to the touch. Now what I'm confused about most, is it wasn't doing that when I was testing it beforehand. It was only until I bolted on the regulator, then plugged in the motor it started doing that.
The fuse is fine, I don't see any pinched wires anywhere on door, or the motor. Even when the car is off with no keys, it automatically goes down. I don't get it. Its late, and I just gave up. I can upload pics later when I get back to it.
I've tried looking for any info on this but I can't find anything.

So I'm actually retarded. I was plugging it into the wrong plug. I was plugging it into the door light plug lmao. Which explains why it was getting power even when car was off.
