window motor gave out! help!

Unhappy window motor gave out! help!

hey!! my passenger side window motor gave out!! and it got stuck on down..! and i really need to put it up cuz i go a lot of places and i cant have my 7 stolen right now..is there any way to put it up right now..? im gonna buy the motor but im so brooooke!! i just paid the bills and stuff...any help..? just a temporary fix!!!

I doubt it's the motor itself.
Personally, I've never seen one fail.

More than likely, it's the power window switches.
Get them cleaned.
It's been covered many times.
Do a proper search to get the details.

true, clean the passanger AND drivers side switches.

if that doesn't work i have a motor you can have (pickup or pay shipping, i dont care)

as for a temp fix (if cleaning the switches doesn't work) drill new holes for the window motor's mounts and move the whole thing up.

when i got my car both windows were stuck up. i cleaned both switches and that fixed my drivers one, but my passenger one is still stuck up. its either the motor or the wires are bad somehow but i havent had a chance to get a new passenger one yet.

so definitely try the switches first, but it might still be the motor.
