Wondering what type of seats were used back in the 80s and 90s? I've been doing a period correct build with my FC and just came to the realization I never considered what seats were around back then. Brides? SPARCOs? RECAROs?

I've always been a sucker for the Recaros with the mesh headrest. LS/LX models, I believe.

The rx7 seats are tricky. . . .They sit really low to the floor pan. . . . .I tried a couple different seats and every time I sat in them I realized the front of the seat pushed up on the underneath of my legs to the point where it was uncomfortable during long stints.. .. . . Now it could just be me, but consider that when getting seats. . . .Do they sit low. . Do they not push up on your legs underneath your knee towards the front of the seat..

 

I wont be getting stock seats, I dont like how the black cloth seats arent actually black and the red seats are more burgundy. I'll be getting some old SPARCO Jrs or Bride zeta IIs
