Do you think It's worth It?

My mechanic offered to Install a used Centerforce II Heavy Duty Clutch/Pressure Plate and RB Aluminum Flywheel with Installation for $1000 can ($638 usd). From what I can tell, It Is In great shape and I know my mechanic wouldn't screw me over. What do you think?

Initially, I was set on getting a ACT Heavy Duty Clutch/Pressure Plate and RB Aluminum Flywheelbrand new. Now I am undecided.

The price is pretty good, but I don't know about buying used clutches.

I am thinking the same way. Maybe I should buy the RB Flywheel off him and get a brand new ACT Extreme Clutch.

when I went shopping for clutches I found a lot of mixed feelings about the centerforce clutches. I was'nt able to find anything negative about the ACT clutches. I went with the six puck unsprung ACT clutch and I love it. I would recommend it to anyone!

I keep hearing bad things about Centerforce, but have never heard anyone say anything bad about the ACT.

I dont think a stage 3 clutch and aluminum (9lb?) flywheel is the best idea on streetability.
ACT or clutchmasters is the way to go, I dont like Centerforce at all. Ive heard nasty stories about them (like a clutch blowing after 2 runs down the strip on nitrous)...BUT i did have a friend that recently used a centerforce dual friction stage 2. He drag raced it all the time even 32 times in one day at race wars and it never slipped.
