Did I Flood?

I think I did, my car sat for a week, I went to start it today, and the engine just spins. There is no resistance or scratching, so I don't think it threw a seal. I'm pretty sure it flooded, my mom said it shooting white smoke out of the back, and it reeks to hell like gas. The engine spins freely, and I hear even pulsing.

I tried pulling the Fuel injection fuse, but I guess it didnt work or I pulled the wrong one.
My dad moved it, then it wasn't driven for a week, it's been pretty cold too.

Whats the best way to unflood/fix it. I just want to know, and make sure its flooded, i've never had a car flood on me before, and I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks,
-Ian

How do you get up to 982 posts and not know this?

Your dad flooded it when he moved it. Bitch slap him and take his wallet.

Pull the two EGI fuses from the fuse panel in the engine bay. Crank the motor 2 or 3 times, for 10 seconds each time. Wait 20-30 seconds between cranks. Put the fuses back in. Start the car.

If that doesn't work, do this: http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/ro.../flooding.html

It Runs!!! WooHoo!
Is it normal to have a shitload of white smoke come out after you unflood it and start it?
It ran like crap for a few seconds, then picked up.

I guess I'm okay now, right?

That 'smoke' is the gas from the flooding.

Change the oil. It will be full of gas, which means it will also be thinner and won't do as good a job of lubricating and it will reduce compression...

Yes, change your oil now! You're talkin about 10 bucks which will save you a lot of headache if you do real damage to your engine.
