My Money Pits

I had a canvas top from the Convertible Top Guys (M&T Manufacturing) installed last November and I love it. The fit is perfect and the look really upgrades from the cheap looking vinyl that comes OEM. Also, the price is cheaper than a vinyl Robbins top which is the general standard that most folks will recommend. I looked at both but given other feedback on this forum from folks who had installed the Convertible Top Guys canvas top, I decided to go that route. I am very pleased with the results.

This was the place we found to have the best price on Robbins tops, they also have a canvas. We installed the vinyl top and a new headliner

On Robbins website there is a tab for installers, this will give you a list in your area. We had ours installed for $500 by an authorized Robbins installer, which means we get the complete 5 year warranty

I got the robbins top, I almost wished I would have looked around a little more, but I got the top for 500 and install for 400 so 900 out the door for a vinyl. It was insanly tight at first but after a week of being up it seems to have stretched out a little, heres a picture!

Haha thanks, I just picked up the car this summer, the paint is actually an earl scheib job from 2006 it just had to spend some time with a buffer at least until I can get real paint. Make sure when you do your new top you pick up some of the little metal screw thingys for some reason or another, mine didnt come with any and I've just got hex bolts for now.

I would also be putting the top on a white vert. My interior is blue so I'm thinking about going blue canvas. Either blue or black, I do think canvas looks really nice.

The Big Ugly!
Typical answer! You could have linked the other thread, but no you just made a worthless post. Sometimes a little help goes a long way & since I think the OP has tons of rotories & good prices when he does part outs. It wouldn't hurt to be helpful.
