CD Player Mount Kit

When i Bought my car it came with a Cd player and i have taken in out about 7 times to install other things or hook stuff up. The mount kit that was used before is very thin and has broken in like 3 different places. I temporarily used epoxy to fix it but now it broke again. I need to know if anyone has a specific brand they used that doesnt have the super thin braces and actually hold the cd player in place?

you could try the stock bracket... you could check your local junkyard or check at the dealership for the radio bracket. LOL i picked one up at the junkyard.

The stock bracket is just a couple pieces of sheetmetal bolted to the factory radio. It's kinda tricky locating the holes on them but it's entirely possible. In fact, the factory bracket is what is holding my craptastic JVC cd deck right now.

If i do like you Aaron Cake can i squeeze a double DIN touch screen in there? I know its sounds ricey but i like my sound systems. Plus I like to have the best stereo out of all my friends and dont want to depend on a cheap motorized unit that will fail

Look at my pictures. The stereo I installed is a DIN. Does it look like you could fit another? Looks like it will to me...

The opening is double DIN, so you can fit pretty much anything in there. The factory brackets work 100% better than a plastic dash kit. I have a metal dash kit, like the one shown above, it works just fine too. I got it for free, so I'm not complaining.
