they are becoming kinda rare. ive seen quite a few in florida when i visit, just keep looking. its a waiting game with tii's, espically 89-91's. but have patience. i can never find any here in houston texas, in fact i have seen less than 10 the whole time ive been into rx7s.

In my opinion, I would look for a N/A 2nd Gen or an N/A 1st gen. 2nd gen NA is a little easier to find. You can ALWAYS find those in the paper for sale, or on ebay, and 1st gens are pretty easy, but need alot of work from what I have found.
Good luck man, and welcome to the world of rotaries(or owning your first one)

Stock TII isn't exactly fast at 180-200hp. It's not a bad first car if you keep it stock until you learn how to properly drive a turbo RWD car.
I had to go to Michigan to get my TII... TIIs are hard to find, let alone one in mint condition.

actually the turbo cars are quite fast compared to most cars and especially 80's japanese cars .going from a n/a to a turbo is like going from roseanne to jenna jameson. sometimes my turbo scares me today when i busted my first real drift in it i'm used top just punching it in the n/a but when i gave it to much throttle the tires just roasted and i don't have powersteering so the car is kinda hard to drive.
