Cant find a second turbo on turbo II

Hey guys new to the forums so sorry if posted in the wrong place, i recently picked up a 1990 rx7 fc vert that has been sitting for 12 years with low rear rotor compression(we are doing a full rebuild on it) and i hope im not completely wrong but isnt it supposed to be 2 turbos on a turbo II engine? I can only seem to find one and if any of you recognize something or need other pics dont hesitate

Hi, welcome to the forums. No, despite the name, the 2nd generation (FC) RX7 TII did not have two turbos, it was a single turbo (engine is 13BT). The 3rd gen FD RX7 was twin turbo (13B-REW).

The "Turbo II" name was just a marketing thing. In the Japanese home market, Mazda sold a version of the FB (1st gen) RX7 with a turbocharged 12A motor, hence "Turbo II" moniker for the FC 2nd gen turbo models. Like the others said, the FC (2nd gen) turbo models were all single turbo motors (13BT).

downpipe is not stock, and the air pump has been removed too, and there are spiders, there are always spiders

The engines are normally equipped with an air pump, which pumped air into the exhaust ports, catalytic convertor, or dumped out of a plastic muffler (which you have yours still in place), depending on certain conditions, to improve emissions.
