Hey Chris the video looks great. If we could find someone to host it, so the quality was a bit better it would be awsome. It took me like 45 minutes to download, but to see the flames Erik (Soloracer) was throwing at the end made the wait worth it.

I forgot how big those flames actually are. Well a couple more months and we will be back at it again, this time with bigger turbo's

I think it was a great idea to identify whose car was whose at the end.

we have 12 3rd gens in are club out here. and like 15 2nd gens.

 

I'm in Calgary (hence the title of the post )
I wouldn't really call our group a "club" .. Just a buncha guys who get together everyweek (less during the winter months) to do a bit of tuning and go for little drives in the country.. We've been graced by the presence of a few 3rd gens now and then (3 of them) But we are basically 2nd gens.. I think we cramp the style of the FD owners
PraxRx7 came down from edmonton and rigged the camera up in his T2..

The flames are a result of a very very rich condition with soloracers car.. healthy? prolly not.. but it does make for a great show

My internet connection is free, so I can't complain to much about how slow it is

Ya not alot of FD's join in on the fun. ShaunO comes every once and awhile, and there is really only a couple others who show up on occasion. Seeing the flames in real life is pretty cool, they are huge and rumble for a while, they scare the hell out of the unsuspecting public.

 

Got it using shared T3 lines (shared with about 10 people, lol) in 8 seconds last night. lol. 45 mins... hooray for dial up!

There's about 4 - 6 guys up here that are hanging out
once in a while. Sam / Rad / Eric / myself jack / and couple others that have 3rd gens.

A couple of us have motors rebuilt by Adam at RX7 Specialities.

No-one here yet with a single turbo though... like Shawn O. By the way has Shawn 1/4 miled his car yet? Most of the guys still trying to squeeze more
HP out of their twins here.

How's Chris Y. doing? He's from Edmonton. Say hi to him for me. I heard someone down there rolled a car
in some ice racing. Is that true?

We should try and set some meets up between the two cities. We could have a big group of RX's if we planned it right. I know Mike (Spinner26) was talking about maybe something in Sylvan Lake.

Loose seems to be doing fine, we see him every other weekend or so, although I am beginning to think his car is just a myth

I had not heard about a rolled car, although Soloracer came pretty close.
