Buzzing past 5.5-6k

So my cars buzzer thing keeps going off at those RPMs. I think its the same one for redline? Not sure. It might also be the oil one when it says your car is low on oil. Thats not it though I keep this thing topped on oil. I have gone about 4k since my last oil change. I also have no 02 sensor at all and I've heard that the oil gets deluded quicker that way. My car is also starting to feel really slow. I just put new headers on (old ones had huge hole in them) and the power felt great for a bit. Car also has air pump deleted and dual alternator pulley. Car almost feels like it has no power past 60mph but will churp 1-2(always) and feels really powerful sometimes. Almost inconsistent. Its an S4 6 port with the cat hollowed out but the pick up line is still there. Just since I've included everything its also making a rubbing type noise when i turn right, and sometimes always until I hit the brakes hard. The car also rolls freely though. Kinda confused.

That buzzer means your Hot Pockets are ready..
Stop the car immediately,Pop the hatch and eat them.

start by checking all general maintenance items. the engine won't run very well if the plugs have 70k miles on them..

I guess the plugs could be fouled but they only have about 4k on them.

that was just 1 example, how about the fuel filter and the pressure from the pump? ignition wires? air filter? you get the drill, always start with the basics.

Yea everything is less than 4k miles. I did them all asap. Maybe the fuel filter could be fucked since this thing sat for so many years before I had it, but why now after 4k miles? Idk.

Someone correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure if you delete your air pump, your cat will get clogged up.

that is true but my cat is hollowed out. Idk if the pick up could still get clogged. I just checked my oil it smells like gas really bad so not driving until I do an oil change.

well then... the car must be running extremely rich or you have an ignition issue. i don't remember the last time i had an n/a that was fouling the oil with fuel unless it had a fuelling issue.

nah, it has just been accepted that this is normal. if the car is running the proper amount of fuel and doesn't have half a million miles on it and as loose as a $3 hooker and you change the oil at least every 3k then it isn't.

what i tried to say is that the fuel in oil smell may be pointing you to the cause of the power loss issue.

It could be. My exhaust: OBX Headers, no 02 sensor, hollowed out stock cat, and stock cat-back. I wonder if this is enough back pressure to open the 5/6 port?

actually the crankcase and fuel vapors vent to the bottom outlet on the charcoal canister, i guess we can chalk that one up to urban RX7 myths as well. fuel can also make into the oil if you flood the engine regularly or have loose side seals and a severely rich running condition.

Have you read through the FSM before? It is full of typographical errors.

i have yet to try cutting open a charcoal canister since it would be rather messy but i can smell the vent where i haven't really noticed fuel vapors going into the engine from the other side of the canister.
