Question Broken OMP lines What "HAS" come off??

I had a problem with my water pump gasket leaking. As I was taking things off to get the water pump off, I broke two of the three original lines. They were brittle bu tI got them back on when building the motor. I know how to fab new lines but....

My question is, to those that have taken the UIM and LIM off, I know that you don't un-hook everything like the FSM said so can you tell me how you get around unhooking everything?? Or can you get around it??

2 of the 3? Last i saw theres 4 omp lines, you have to take off the middle and upper manifolds. I got ss omp lines now, no worries about them ever breaking

Edit- Also smog pump, bracket for it and lower rad hose, that all helps and be sure not to lose your copper crush washers.

To change the OMP lines all you have to do is take off the UIM, unbolt the 4 oil injectors, unbolt the lines at the OMP and thats about it. You'll probably break the lines where the oil injectors are when taking them out. Make sure not to lose all the copper washers and the copper gasket for the OMP lines.

I replaced one of the omp lines already, sorry I didn't write it too clearly. OF the three remaining original lines I just broke two. So now there is One new one two old broken ones and one old one still intack.

C'mon andrew I know the intakes have to come off. What I am asking is......do you have to unhook everything on the intakes just to lift up the one that covers the omp inlet banjo bolts.

I have four copper washers, Does each one take one copper washer under the line??

2 copper o-rings per injector. one on bottom of oil line one on top. the omp should be should have one large piece with 4 holes. how are you going to fab new lines? i hate paying 20 bucks a piece for those things.

No. found an FC at the junk yard with nice new supple oil lines. Paid 6 bux for all. I am installing them right now.

Speaking of which, is there any order that the lines go in??? I mean does the number one line have to go to certain spot on the intake?? I know where two of them go but the other two where broken so I couldn't make a note of where they went.

You mean on the OMP spider? It doesnt matter but if your lines are hard and formed already they may only work one way.
