idle at 2000-3000rpm. power at 7k-10k
i had a 1st gen with a extended bridge port it idled a 1700-2000rpm power at about 5k-9k (depending on what carby or injection your running) and that was with my long primary system with my old short system it came on earlier but wasnt as good in the hi rpms
it should last at least 100.000kms(90k miles)
the idle you described is more like j-port or pp

The only time I've ever heard of a BP on a 6port, is during SCCA cometition. Some shady people will BP their 5/6th sleeves, so they sound stock @ Idle, but onces the secondaries open, they have that much more.
If I had some templates, and my engine was still COMPLETELY apart, I'd do that myself.
