FMICs for the FC?

Hey guys,

I'm getting ready to go FMIC but having problems choosing which one. I know it all depends on the turbo setup but I'd like one that looks decent yet doesn't drop the boost pressure.

I've seen the Starion/Conquest Intercoolers on TIIs and honestly, they look a bit small. Especially since I'll be getting a different front bumper, the front air dam is MUCH larger than the stock one. So the Starion will just look out of place.

what other options are there? What do you guys use? Got pics?

Damn, that's really pretty cheap! It's a helluva nice kit - beautiful aluminum piping, big throttle body elbow, HUGE core...

I can't remember if it's 2 or 4 row. It's the V-SPL kit.

You guys are acting like this is big news or something . This kit has been out for a while and is mighty popular.

ohhh???..i dont believe you..alot of FC guys including me has done custom FMIC.. Im using an NPR IC and its not that hard to do the piping.

Buy a kit that'll drop right in???...hmmm i dont know about that...have you done one personally???...have you even seen those posted pics of FMIC during install???..do you see how much work they have to do??..i really dont call it a drop in???..removing the whole front end to install a front mount is not a drop in..do you see what im trying to say??..

Ohhh and FYI some of us settle for custom because they are alot and i mean alot cheaper than getting a 800+ kit..

actually intercoolers cool down the cold side of the turbo not the exhaust side, compress air gets hot and less dense - intercooler makes the air more dense by cooling the air down.
