brakes seize after car warms up

Just putting this out there to get some advice in case it's something I haven't been thinking of. Car just got delivered today from the transport, and I noticed that when the car is cool, the brakes work completely fine. However, as soon as I start the car and let it idle, as the car warms up (not moving) the brakes will start to seize up and you can't move anywhere. This only happens when the car is warm, and even sitting and idling will cause it. I've jacked up the front and rear wheels and tried rolling them, and they all seize, so I don't believe it's an isolated caliper.

Pedal adjustment maybe? The only real thing I could find was an issue similar to this on the S30 forums, and people were thinking the same thing I am (pedal adjustment.) Anyone out there have any other ideas that I may not be thinking about?

>> Pedal adjustment maybe?

That's probably a good place to start. If not that, than I'd next check the master cylinder.

I'd also do a flush and bleed, to get rid of anything possibly goofy

I appreciate the link to the fsm page! Thank you! That's probably where I'm going to start. I can't imagine what else would cause all four wheels to seize like that. Pedal or master cylinder.

I worked on a turbo II that did that. In the end it was the master cylinder. It would drive fine when cold but when everything got nice and warm the rear brakes would lock up.

Its al fours with this one. I checked the brake pedal today, absolutely zero freeplay in it, so I suppose that will be step one when I have all of my tools with me. All I had were closed end wrenches. Of course I need to take a good look at the master cylinder as well.

One other interesting thing, I noticed someone wired the fuel pump to be at constant voltage when the key is set to on. I looked up under the dash, and theres definitely some wires spliced into the gigantic relay with the black top and yellow bottom. Wonder why? Bad relay perhaps and they just didn't want to buy another?
