unlocking the brakes.

hi guys i just got my 1987 N/A towed to my house. the engine doesnt start but i jump started it and found out it needed new heads on the battery. so i want to move the car, but the rear brakes wont unlock. how do you unlock them?

if they are seized you need to get new ones or rebuild them

no, the ebrake is off. and these brakes have been sitting for a year now. when i start the car, it moves, but when it turns off i cant push it or anything. they just stay locked, even with the ebrake off and in neutral
