I wish I was driving!
The addition of extra gas would cause the engine to run extremely rich during shifts, and cause a bog or stumble. The engine would basically hesitate between shifts, but on most cars, this hesitation is not noticable.

blitz!
I got a blitz in my 88 Turbo II. its loud as hell and works good my only complaint would be that it is kinda slow.. It can't always keep up with my foot when I'm out on the mountain driving/wannabe drifting......
But I'm still really happy with it!

I've used the Blitz SSBOV, Apexi twin chamber, HKS oldstyle Racing BOV, Greddy Type R BOV.
My Blitz leaked once I went over .8 kilos boost. ALOT of my friends also used this BOV because of loudness, and they all said that after .8 kilos, it would leak.
Apexi twin chamber is quiet, and would be good with any stock turbo'd car. I actually have had two, and unfortunately my second one leaked. I disassembled it, cleaned the carbon out of it, greased the spring up, and she worked fine for a little while, but eventually it started leaking under mid throttle, so I believe that my spring went bad.
HKS racing BOV was really great. I never had any problems. Unfortunately, Dragon needed a BOV and since I had my heart set on a Greddy Type R BOV, I "gave" that one to him.
Greddy Type R BOV works GREAT. If you have aftermarket turbo's, you definitely have to use this one. VERY quiet with my stock twins.

Is there a way to run a BOV on a TII and not have the fireballs/popping effect from the rich condition?
I'd like to get one, but not if that's the trade-off.

2) Get rid of the AFM-based stock ECU system and go MAP-based (i.e. Haltech, MoTeC, TECII [ALPHA LISTING!]).

I have the BLITZ and say MUST GET...It goes zzzzZZZZ when excelerating and pshhhhhh when letting off really loud even at stock PSI. My freind that owned the car before me has been using it for 4-6 months at 1BAR of boost or around 14-15 psi and has had no problems. I still dont have problems with it...just mount it right and it should last otherwise just replace it when it brakes...
Does anyone know how the digital BLITZ boost controller is??? trying to buy one for 250
