I have the H type locked & loaded .. .its great no complaints at all, but its not very loud. But then again my exhaust system is so loud its hard to tell. I can hear it go off, but it's not head turning. But I am sure it is doing a great job of protecting the turbo.

the A'PEX twin chamber BOV isn't loud at all, but if you have upgraded turbo and experience high boost pressure, get the A'PEX racing BOV...doesnt look pretty like the twin chamber though. i think the Blitz is the loudest personally.

Most can be made to recirculate. The Greddy Type S is easiest to route back into the intake.

I was allways leaning tward the TurboXS RFL for once i got a car if i ever find a tII for a good price otherwise i will go NA but after reading this it sounds like you must run a bypass valve on a car with an AFM which all 2nd gen rx7's have right? so you are saying that on a 7 with a stock fuel system that a BOV will give you a rich condition when leting of the gas or shifting which is fine for me if all it would do is make it shoot more flames but if it causes a bog thats not good. and also do after market bypass valves like the ones from turbo xs make the fluttering swoosh sound like BOV or are they quiet like the stock bypass valve and if they are than y get an aftermarket one
sorry for the long post

Are you looking for sound? Looks? Performance and reliability?

I'd go with a Tial, Better quality and performance, will work everytime all the time. Not to say the Greddy and HKS aren't good but I think they have put more into the sound and design rather than how well and reliable it will function. I just happen to like the clean look of a polished Tial bov though so maybe i'm biased.

We use the HKS racing adjustable BOV. I even have it in my daily driven Turbo/Carb GXL.
