Wtf do you have controlling your engine? I mean there is no way you are running a to4 with an safc. And last time I saw you post you had no clue. I wouldnt expect a motor to last very long with a to4, 20psi running on the base timing maps, and fuel maps altered by an safc.........

S-AFC will do this fine, and timing can be retarded a number of ways (manually, CDI box, etc.)...

Yes it's possible to get by with a safc on a full t04...but why? I feel confident given the current user and the mods the engines days are numbered.

Oh and current boost:

1st: 7 pounds
2nd - 8
3rd - 9
4th - 10
5th - 9

I also don't think 20PSI is a good idea at all with a t04 and just an SAFC, IF you can get the right ammount of fuel in at 20Psi your going to be having some interesting drivability problems off boost i'd be betting. but then again who am I to judge i'm still using the standard ecu with my N/A turbo engine

Personally I'm running 4psi in my car at the moment, spikes to 5 sometimes, well at least did until the turbo **** itself, now has trouble holding 3psi

Well i can't afford a haltech they are like 1400 and someone told me the shop i go to wants like 1,100 to install and tune it. I only paid 4k for the car im not spending 2500 on a ******* ecu. I prolly won't run 20psi. maybe like 17.

.... I think you should pull back the carpet on the passanger floor and see whats under there before you buy anything. There is NO way you are running a to4 with a full 3in turbo back exhaust, tid and just a fcd. Your car must run stupidly lean at high rpms if you do just have the stock computer and a fcd.

I agree dr0x, sounds a bit optimistic, 14psi, T04 with all those non fuel related mods...
most people struggle to avoid detonation at 14psi on the standard turbo, let alone a T04!!
