Bogging RX7 from standing start...
Do your RX7 Turbos bog starting from a stand still?
If I let the clutch meet at 2500 and slip it, it'll pull away from traffic fine. But if I let the clutch meet at 1000RPMs, and try to pull away from traffic, it bogs badly until I get to about 2000RPMS and then it'll pull away cleanly. It gets especially bad about this when the car warms up.
My RX7 NA, I could let the clutch meet at 1000-1300RPMS and it'll pull away fine. My Honda, I can let the clutch meet at 800RPMs, and it'll pull away cleanly without bogging.
Is this common with RX7 Turbos, or is something wrong with my car?
Thanks,
David

how soon you disengage the clutch has a ton of different variables aside from the engine type. How old is the clutch would be one question to ask. I wouldn't worry about it.

Cat is a hi-flo Bonez cat. No TB mod -- I thought it could've been the butterflies opening too late , but rekx said that having the secondaries open too early could cause the bogging.
Who's right?

LOL - point dully noted.
But I thought the hesitation was only on abrupt throttle changes. If I slip the throttle at 1000RPMS, it'll still bog down...You've really got to be careful about the throttle on my car! Kind of sucks...
