My Fc makes a creaking sound when I go over bumps.
When I first take off from a light or put it in reverse it will make a creaking sound, like a buckling sound. I can hear it everytime I go over a speed bump and its annoying. Its coming from the rear only, it sounds like something to do with my suspension but I can't pinpoint it. ANy ideas.

perhaps a strut tower about to break? get somebody to sit under it and jump on the bumper or so (thats like sitting down hard... don't literally jump LoL) then you can isolate WHAT PART (or couple of parts) its coming from. sneaky, huh?

you know, it sounds like its coming from just under those rear speaker pods. it sounds like an old beat up car with the noise. but when im cornering hard i never hear any suspension noises, just at low speeds like going over a speed bump or even just backing out.

Mine does it.. and i KNOW what it is... is the damn hatch locks, one of them is adjusted wrong (the passenger side is to low) and I'm just to damn lazy to get back then and adjust them right!!!! But tis getting to the point as to where its pissing me off, so it'll likely get fixed the first time my girlfriend bitched about the noise!!!

check your exhaust hangers up by the gas tank.
when i put on my exhaust, i forgot to tighten them up nicely, i thought i stripped a tooth in my tranny, it would rattle so much in reverse.
