PA BNR stage 1 turbo still running stock boost

Long story short. I was getting boost creep on my stock turbo, after I put downpipe (not cat) to apexi n1 So when i go WOT fuel cut kicked in about 4k. So I bought the BNR stage 1 from a forum member at a good price. I'm not getting boost creep anymore but my question is am I getting more hp even though I"m still running stock boost. Reason I'm asking is because my friend has a 240sx with sr20det and that should have 205hp and he is also running downpipe not cat. And I have an S4 T2 and it should have 188hp. But I always beat him in a race. And I cant compare it to my stock turbo cuz of the boost creep. So we got into the discussion that I might be getting more hp then the stock turbo even though I'm still running stock boost. And if so how much more hp am i getting then stock?

ps
(in the process to get rtek2.1 and upgrading my fuel pump to run higher boost)

Its because the turbo flows more air at the same boost. More air+fuel=more power. Also rotaries have much better top end than just a 4 cylinder, alot of people underestimate that especially the v8 guys.

The stage 2 rtek is great, I love mine(n/a s5). Why didn't you port your wastegate on the factory turbo?

I was but then the I saw the bnr on the for sell forum and bought it. It was a really good deal and it rated to get 320whp so I'll be happy if I get 290whp after I buy the fmic.

cant really tell cuz we started the race on a on ramp he was behind me, and he couldn't close the gap. He said that my 2nd gear is ridiculous
