blown seal?

ok lets start from the beginning.
I went to get my oil changed at a local shop, and they told me two things...
i had a coolant leak from a hose and my oil fill tube had water around the neck (but the old oil wasn't milky).
So I drove straight home and checked everything-
I was told that if the oil fill neck was sort of watery and a little white,
it's nothing to worry about because a little condensation can get into there.
~(just as long as my oil wasn't milky)~
well, that eliminated 1 problem
now about the coolant hose...
I replaced the hose thats on the drivers side back of the motor.
It's the one that goes from 3/8 to 5/8.
It attaches on the motor to the right of the spark plugs and goes to the firewall.
(thats not my motor)
but one other thing is leaking
there is a sensor thing with a wire attached to it
it has a barely pinkish ring looking thing, and then the rest of it looks sort of copper ish.
It might be the temperature sensor, but im not sure.
please help!

If you are talking about the sensor directly behind the wiring harness, it is indeed the dash coolant temp sensor. Remove the sensor, clean the threads and then reinstall after applying Teflon sealant or pipe dope.
A little bit of moisture in the oil filler neck is normal.

NA? That sensor is the knock sensor, only found on turbo cars. So either you have a turbo car, or you have the rotor housing from one. You can remove the knock sensor.

I bought the tape stuff today and I'm going to put it on tomorrow...
So should i still do it?
I thought you said that sensor was the temp/ position sensor
(And like i said, that isnt my motor in the pic)

The threads are too fine for Teflon tape. You need liquid sealant (pipe dope).
The sensor immediately to the right of the wire harness is the oil pressure sender. If it's leaking, you probably need to replace the sender. It's also common for the two o-rings that seal the oil filter pedestal to leak.
The sensor UNDER the wiring harness is the temp sender for the dash gauge.

alright alright...
the hose was shooting coolant towards the temp. sensor,
so the sensor wasn't leaking. I replaced that hose, cleaned my plugs with starter fluid spray, and sprayed some starting fluid into some hoses and it cranked up.
So, theres my fix.

And I did that check for a blown seal in the FAQ,
and it's not blown! :-D
