Q on the the afr meters can i hook up the o2 wire with the o2 sensor wire or do i have to do it from the ecu
Q what should i hook the power source up to....the ig power wire to the ecu? if so i dont have enough available wire can i just splice it with my safc IG power wire??

1) It would probably be easier to splice the sensor wire in close to the ECU, otherwise you'll have to worry about the shield. Is the gauge's wire shielded?
2) Any circuit that IGN 1 or 2 in the OEM wiring should work, which would be the 3rd and 4th rows down in your cabin fuse box, should you want to tap in there. Or, the SAFC power wire also should work...

i hooked up my whole gauge to the ECU... pos, neg (ground), and 02 sensor. its much easier. all the slots are there, except if your gauge has a backlight, i tapped into the passenger radio speaker near the ac vent.

and no you cant tune **** with a narrowband air/fuel gauge. all its good for it warning you when you're running too lean and you're about to blow something up. it gives you a small idea of what your car is doing, but it isnt accurate enough to tune with.
by the way when u have it all hooked up, let the damn car warm up before assuming it doesnt work.

Unless you really know what you're doing (and very few here do), do not use a narrow-band A/F gauge for tuning. They are a useful diagnostic tool however, and will quickly tell you if something's not right.
All connections (power, ground and signal) can be made at the ECU. Don't connect at the O2 sensor as there's a good chance you'll stuff it up and ground the signal through the shield wire.
