Dude, you're not doing yourself any favours here. SAS is the company that makes all Bazooka bass tubes, most of which do not look like NOS bottles. It you'd looked at the link I posted, you would've seen that and not made a fool of yourself by calling me ignorant.

having a great sound sustem is very nice, you won't need spoiler to keep you close to the ground...heheh....but if you're looking for performance you don't need a huge sound system in your car.
If you race you'll need to hear your engine more than CD's..

I vote for a nice system.

I am in the process of finishing acquiring all the parts for mine, the box is built, I just gotta carpet it and do some weight reduction on it.

The deck is the Alpine CDA-9831, one of their newest ones, and I have Polk Audio DB6500 6 1/2s in the back, and some Infinity Kappa 4 1/2s in the front. All these powered by a Alpine 4 channel amp. They sound great.

In the back I have two Infinity Kappa Perfect 10d VQ subwoofers, each powered by their own Polk Audio C500.1 amp. Adds a lot to the music and sounds great.

These are old pictures, but they're the best I have right now.

In this pic you can see it before I made the cuts for everything, the two amps sit in that raised part in the center, and there is one sub in each of the raised round parts in the back. I left some room back there so that I could still get my spare tire out if I needed it. My girlfriend's dad owns a business that builds domes outta polycarbonate and can get it for me and bend/cut it cheap. So I have actually gotten rid of a lot of the wood for the peripheral stuff, and left it for the main support beam and the sub enclosures.

Here's the bottom of the box so you can see how big the enclosures for the subs are. The cutouts around the side go right around the shock towers, and when I carpet it I'm going to blend it all into the trunk so you won't even be able to tell it's a separate piece.

I'll be sure and do that, just waiting for all my cables to show up from Monster Cable so I can hook it up.

*grumble grumble*

fine, i made a mistake and i will admit it. it still remains that i was talking about one specific type, one that you know about (the one that looks like a nos bottle), and that is all. and as far as anyone being called ignorant, you called me that, not the other way around. you aren't helping this thread, so shove off and bother someone else.

or did you miss the post i made about calling it rice being made in fun anyways?

Good call on the subs

I was gonna get those but for the size of my enclosure I needed the Variable Q so I didn't blow them immediately. I'm gonna be running 2 AWG wire from the engine to the trunk, then I've got a monster dist. block to split it to two 4 AWG wires for the amps.
