Anybody use a wideband O2 sensor?

Care to share thoughts on it?

the techedge (wbo2.com) setup is great. <3

$30 o2 sensor also.. can run with it all the time.. its a VW part.

has linear wideband out, wideband out, and narrowband sim out.

5 inputs for datalogging, etc.

very nice setup, i run one in my tII

If you doing extensive modifications to your engine then it might as well be considered necessary for optimal tuning.

Meaning that one o2 sensor acts as a narrowband and wideband? As in only need 1 sensor if youre still using the stock ecu?

The plx widebands, tech edge, and innovate lm1 widebands all have that option.

Price will range from 300 upwards to 600 dollars depending on what trim, and accesories you get if the above mentioned models are bought.

I meant where did you get that sensor, I was under the impression that with all three of those wideband controllers you had to keep a second narrowband connected if you were still runing the stock ecu.

The wideband systems have a an output that sends from 0-1 volt, simulating what a narrowband wideband sends to the ecu. They also have a 0-5 volt wideband output so that the voltage (and hence the a/f ratio) can be logged via a stand alone or other logging system.
