I've been thinking about picking one or two of these up and putting them behind the seats, but I cant find a decent price on them.

my first car had the ultimate hidden sub and amp. previous owner took the bins out and made a box to fit flush with the rest of the hatch. he bought some gray fabric that was similar to the stock fabric. with that covered you could not tell there was 2 12' subs and 2 amps. sounded amazing and looked stock. he did this after his **** was jacked for the 3rd time lol. anyways just giving ideas

I switch back and forth between a 8" bazooka tube and a 10" kicker comp VR, the comp VR hits and sounds great but it takes up a lot of room (the box that its in), but right now i have the tube in bc i took out the spare tire and put an amp and the tube in there, fully hidden and this tube might be 8" but it has a suprising amount of punch, and i like that its hidden and people always are asking me where the bump is coming from...

It's a great sounding system, rockford speakers in front and back for crisp mids an high's and 12" clarion for the low end. sony 12 disc changer and tape deck(fools the thievs) sub has locks on it and is easily removed. tint on the windows prevents thieves form seeing it easily and Viper alarm just incase.

You don't need all these big sub boxes and huge amps for a decent sounding system. When I had my FC, all I did was replace all the stock speakers with Kenwoods and add a 8", powered, Kenwood sub. I had the two 6.5s in the door and two 6.5s on the strut towers powered by a single, 4x30w a/d/s/ amp I got on ebay for $50. The Sony ES CD receiver and 10 disc changer supplied the signal. When my FC got wrecked, I got everything out except the speaker wire and RCA cables. I actually put the two boxes with all the components on a shipping scale. It only weighed 26 lbs.

I had the amp mounted on the wall behind the driver's seat and the CD changer mounted in the same place behind the passenger's seat. The sub was just strapped down right behind the storage bins with the signal wire under the carpet. With this set-up all you could see from the outside was the sub. I know there superior stuff out there, but this was the best sounding system I've ever had. Plus, I had complete functionality of all the car's space. The bins were used as intended and the back hatch area was empty and ready for groceries or whatever.

I installed all the components myself, it sounded great and it was fairly light-weight...

I WIN!

so you think the sas bazooka bass bottle is not rice, nz? it is, and there isn't anything you can do about it. besides, my comment was made in sarcasm anyways.

Sound system? I used to be into all that stuff.

Now I'm just running a CD player and two cheap 6.5" rear speakers... no fronts.

Nobody mentioned a "bottle", just a plain ol' bass tube. Showing your rice paranoia there...

my system: in a 1988 Turbo II Converitble.

Head unit: Sony Xplode CDX630 (blacklit) 225 watt

dash speakers : 4.5" Infinity kappa's

Door speakers (cutting involved) : 6.5" Infinity Kappa's

Behind seats where wind deflector is (vert) 6X9 Infinity Kappa's

I Plan to get 1 Infinity Perfect 10" subwoofer, an appropriate amplifer for the sub and an seconday amplifer for the speakers.

If you haven't noticed I really like the quality of Infinity products

I dont want to be heard bumpin down the road so people can hear the bass 1/2 mile before I get there. I just want something clean and clear that sounds awsome at all sound levels, so far with just the speakers it does pretty good. The are 3-way speakers BTW.

if you knew what it was, you would already know that the sas bazooka tube is in the shape of a nos bottle. it isn't rice, per se, so long as the owner doesn't try to pass it off as an actual nos bottle (and that is what is rice about it). i personally think they are cool, but i wouldn't buy one...they sound like ***. let me find you a picture....

You're the one showing their ignorance, not me. SAS happen to make a Bazooka bass tube that looks like a NOS bottle, however most of the bass tubes they been making for the last 15 years do not.

The forum won't let my load a pic, so you'll have to check out www.bazooka.com and do some learning.

Now tell me again, how is this "rice"?

I don't think they're saying that the regular bass tubes are rice, just the nos bottle tube, becuase ricers would put it in there car to trick stupid people into thinking they have nitrous.

I am going to put a decent head unit in my car with some decent aftermarket speakers(the stock ones are blown anyway) and I was thinking an infinity basslink to stick in the back, but now I might check out that kenwood thing.

Might not win SLP contests, or even sound THAT great, but it should sound good enough for my car, afterall the rx7 is a preformace car, I wouldn't want to add too much weight just for a stereo, but to each there own.

domesttuner incorrectly believes that all Bazooka tubes look like NOS bottles.

i'll take dumb assumptions pulled out of my *** for 1000, alex.

i never said that i beleive that all bass tubes look like nos bottles. i said the sas tube does. that's what the lnk showed, right? so who is ignorant now? i never called all bass tubes rice, only the one that looks like a nos bottle. perhaps you should read post carefully prior to making your own dumb post.
