What year eclipse? And stock? a 100 shot sounds like some serious overkill for most of them! My n/a can keep up with almost all the Turbo 1G's, haven't had much a chance to try a turbo 2G yet.

Buried my speedo at 240km/h but I also have 17's on with 40 series rubber. I hear that changing wheels will actually change the speedo reading. I;m not sure as to how much it can change though. Anyone know?

This thread belongs in the lounge. Other than NZ, its a load of crap. How about this, why dont we have one of our little rotary conventions out at the salt flats and see some of the rocket scientists put up or . . .

By the way, I know where you guys can get a JATO bottle - Makes nitrous look like water.

jet assisted take off, 10000lb of thrust for 15 seconds. And just where do you think we'll have a long enough stretch for that? :-D

Dude, dyno's don't count. Any car can redline in top gear on a dyno, becauses there's no wind resistance.

there are some things beingoverlooked here, besides the math presented earlier, there is no account of aero mods or type, remember thgat all other things being equal, a vert is slower than a gtu because of its incresed wind resistance. also, weight does make a difference,if you were to fill your car with heavy stuff, like say lead, it would not be near as fast, you could not get it to go as fast anywhere but on ahill, without the torue to pull the weight at an increasing sped, the car will not accelerate, if the car wont accelerate that it cannot reac its top speeds also top speed in my FB 12a is 120
