is this a 1990??

Hey this car was on a Ad saying its a 1990 RX-7, As far as i know, i haven't seen any that look like this, maybe i see 89's more, but this looks to me to be a 3rd gen rx-7. It says it has a LSD rear end too, what is that exactly? thanks for any info!

3rd gen RX-7's started in 1993...

And I don't know if its just me, but there's no picture or link to accompany "this car"

prob. a typo, this would be the 3rd gen. 92-98 (n I know there's also a 99 j-spec as well right?) dunno I might be wrong on that last :/

In the US the 2nd gen stop production in the middle of 1992 and started producing the 3rd gens in the last half of the year til 1998. The 99 jspec I believe was produced in europe. All this was due to the fact the Miata came into the picture running just the convertable 7 and Miata in 92

ah so thats where the 20b twin turbo came from: the eunos cosmo in 1990. That I didnt know.

You can't really mistake a 3rd gen for a 2nd gen. They have that whole thing going on where they look like completely and totally different vehicles.
