1987 rx7 buzzer
Hey guys so I recently purchased a fc about 2 months ago and I bought it with the low coolant light on and the buzzer I ordered the coolant level sensor and the light went away then I bought a koyorad radiator and bled the system well and the buzzer still hasn’t gone away.I have heard people tell me that the buzzer could go off since my idiot cluster lights don’t all come on when I put the key in and can be the cold solder joints but I’m not exactly sure if that could make it go off please let me know

Have RX-7, will restore

First, verify that the coolant level is to spec. Verify that the overflow tank is to the full line. The buzzer and the low coolant light operate together. The next step I would take is grounding the wire for the coolant level sensor and see if the buzzing goes away.. this is a diagnostic step, not a repair and will verify proper operation of the buzzer and wiring. If it doesn't stop, then we can go from there.

I had a buzzer going constant as well. There are three things that cause the buzzer to go off.
Low water level
Low oil level
Redline warning
I ended up undoing a screw on the back of the dash cluster to get rid of the RPM warning buzzer, as something was shorted on it. I was able to ground both the water level and oil level sensor wires to the chassis to make sure they still worked.
I even had an issue that caused the speedometer return spring to glow red hot and melted part of the speedometer. That ended up being bad grounds under the dashboard and engine bay.
Here is my full thread on the stuff I did for mine: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...think-1152400/

having a bad alternator can cause it?cause when I turn on my lights they come on good but when I press the brakes the lights dim and the rpms drip due to not enough power I believe could that cause it?

I changed out my alternator and it still did it, so it was not a cause on mine.
A lot of the issues can be fixed by redoing all the grounds too.
