Drag racers used to come the the airport where I worked at to buy that stuff. Even guys with old fat fendered fords bought it. They said that their engines ran better on it but I see no point of using it unless you have a turbo FC. It is basically just high octane gas which so happens to be dyed blue.

Aviation fuel is color coded to help keep from putting the wrong fuel in your engine. Examples of US fuel codes:

80 - Red
100 - Green
100LL - Blue

You should see the part of the video where she does kegual (sp) exercises using apex seals
