ha thanks guys for the compliments......

i am just very happy everything works and there werent any hitches

today i got the dash back in and all the wiring done.... got everything situated int he engine bay aswell...

ordered a 36" 4" glasspack today aswelll that should be done tommorrow

then i have to get the hotside charge pipe done and various little things... first test and tune is 1.5 weeks away,.....

here is a decent vid... i didnt have the throttle cable and other things done when i took this but by tonight i had all that done and took it a couple times up and down the block

take note the belt is loose and you can hear it squeal once... and the steering column is not bolted up.... once it was i can see the full sweep of the tach very easily

and i will be gone this weekend... i am leaving to visit my younger twin sisters becasue i promised long ago.... so not much will happen till late sunday or monday

ha and that fan is temporary

I dunno about that glasspack..rotaries are quite well known to blow out a glasspack muffler within 5 minutes to 1 hour..

ha thanks man

should have the charge piping done tommorrow before i leave for the weekend

short vid if you wanna see.... this is wiht the big glasspack on it.... it will still have a tail section with a resonator, so not quite as loud.. seems louder in the vid than real life

I have the glass pack reversed to help preserve the packing... though it makes it a little louder

ha turbo is loud though

hmm shiny maroon custom intake manifolds, its deja vu! they look great though!

one question however, whats up with the oil cooler and turbo return lines? they're just hose clamped? is that permanent or temporary?

ok well for starters

I went with a single Tial 44mm WG.... I had planned on recirculating the dump because it was obnoxious on the last setup with an open dump.

i left it vented for a day..... was obnoxious... and then plumbed in the WG.... the car is scary quiet now, especially in boost.... just makes a badass hisssss and goes. and that is on just the spring press. of 10 psi. With the 44 tial there is absolutely no boost creep... well designed WG

so for the exhaust i have a 36" x 4" glasspack then goes to two 3.5" resonator things.... then to the fart can at the ***...... HA so that is a total of 4 mufflers

The car is very very quiet, just the way i wanted it.... the cops dont look twice at me... even without a hood and i havent been stoped once.

i love the way it runs now... it is so smooth and quiet i can tell exactly what the engine is doing compared to a vented WG

here is sort of a sorry pic for the WG position

here is a pic of how the TB and stuff turned out

and some more done on the interior

ah and i got my cooling panels done.... they turned out nice... the car doesnt heat at all now at least on this hp level..... at the track even the temps stayed consistant... and on the logs the intake temps were never more than 15 above ambient

also with the fans running you can feel air from in front of the car being pulled through the IC with your hand easily

you can see the top panel in these pics and what the bay looks like currently

and this gay one....

Ill have a post of the track info up here once the vid is done loading

and i will be attending a carshow this weekend so i will have worthy pics of everything once that is done

ok for the first test and tune this weekend....

i was out on saturday at the track... and i wasnt going to run my car because it is completely untuned with afrs of base 10's that bottom my Wideband O2 out and only at 10 psi of boost

so i neglegted to run on saturday... and just watched everyone.... ha but it really got to me because a couple of people that were "supposed" to be faster than me at 10psi were only pulling mid 13's with 117-119 traps.... and touched a high 12 on only one pass = sad and me wanting to run

and one was a whipple cobra that i watched dyno 537 wheel earlier that day
and the other was a gt32 KA24 240 at 20psi, that posts he killed me from a roll
( ha another ridiculas story in itself)

well so on sunday i got my cooling panels done and headed to the track late in the afternoon.... needless to say i was about the only one there.

i only have the NA rear still and i really jsut wanted to see where i stood so i went wtih soft launching, i just slipped the clutch....

on the first pass of the season i ran a 12.4 at 109 with a sixty foot of 1.9 at 10psi of boost.... ran a couple more times with similar results back to back data logging

we turned the boost up a little to 14psi and was in the staging lines... but the track had computer difficulties and shut down the track(it was late evening)... or we would of had a 11 sec pass for sure on easy launches... the car pulls excellent at 14psi, compared to 10psi... i am very very satisfied... that compressor is not even in its efficiency range at those low of boost levels

and here is the shitty vid of the first run...... 1.9 60ft.... 10psi, not to shabby, now time for boost and tunning

oh yeah and that smoke is my clutch ..... just launching soft rolling off the clutch...

ha take note of how quiet the car is... you can barley hear it by then end of the track.... and couldnt at all when i was actually lined up against someone

makes messing around in town tempting.

amazing zbrown! you may hold the title for quickest build....or maybe you built this thing in the last two years and displayed the writeup in a well thought out time line.......who knows! haha

So what was the port job on this motor? and what kind of response are you getting with this turbo, full boost by 5k??

It is just a large streetport....

full boost by 5k for sure.... id have to look at a log

if i go full throttle from 2k in 4th gear i start getting boost at 2900rpm and full boost at about 4200rpm

it is a 1.01 hotside.... i sure like the way it acts though

the car is running better and better the more get some miles on it

it pulls 16.5 hg vaccum at 800 rpm idle already, and starts and idles beautifully

you know whats wierd my 105k mile T2 is boosting 14lbs on standalone. I still have perfect compression and it pulls like 20+ in vaccum.
