Fitment is perfect, and I love the bumper vents, where dud they come from? Looks like mx6 turbo vents...

**** yeah, I love this.

 

Tried to change the red seats to black with some duplicolor vinyl dye. Came out okay but could have used one more can. Surprised how nicely it stuck to the seats snd how soft they stayed. Just had to brush the seats to fluff them back up when finished. Doesnt seem to be bleeding onto clothes yey but we'll see. Better than cheap srat covers or buying new seats.

 

The duplicolor stuff goes on pretty nice, it didn't last too long for me. SEM color coat is better all around.

And to contribute...

 

My first RX was that gold color. I would kill for another one that color.

 

Forgot i took this... 110mph was a bit too much downforce for my mounts.



It broke all but 2 screws off and was flapping like a SOB..

 

For the sake of continuing the thread although, I made one sole for this new beast.

 

Well damn! At least we know it works, lol.

 

I also heard lots of good things about SEM but I stumbled across this at the store the other day and bought it on impulse. I would like some better seats, these are okay but the maroon was killing me.

 

I <3 my burgundy interior.

 

I'm curious to know how long before they start to bleed, if it's good enough I'll just go crazy and do all my interior. LOL.

Me too when it was all burgandy in my Grey '88 GXL. I ended up taking the red seats when I sold it cause my TII seats were beat. They just looked weird in the grey interior of the TII so I sprayed em black.

Love the Seats don't see many like them. good job. May talk instructor into doing the same.

 

If you are ever looking for the back seats, I have a complete burgundy set including hatch carpet and hatch side panels and all hardware.

Thanks man, I was pleasantly surprised by how good they came out. I just don't expect it to be a permanent solution but good for the $15 I spent.


And that's some clean looking exhaust DJ. I got an exhaust project in the works as we speak.
