Tried to change the red seats to black with some duplicolor vinyl dye. Came out okay but could have used one more can. Surprised how nicely it stuck to the seats snd how soft they stayed. Just had to brush the seats to fluff them back up when finished. Doesnt seem to be bleeding onto clothes yey but we'll see. Better than cheap srat covers or buying new seats.

The duplicolor stuff goes on pretty nice, it didn't last too long for me. SEM color coat is better all around.

I also heard lots of good things about SEM but I stumbled across this at the store the other day and bought it on impulse. I would like some better seats, these are okay but the maroon was killing me.
Me too when it was all burgandy in my Grey '88 GXL. I ended up taking the red seats when I sold it cause my TII seats were beat. They just looked weird in the grey interior of the TII so I sprayed em black.
