yeah they were the toughest. the vinyl would stick to the gelcoat on the kit and then the gelcoat would break away from the fg, leaving a piece of not sticky vinyl underneath. it was either redo the entire thing or live with it. there arent really any bubbles anywhere though. the lumps on the rear above the tail lights are the plugs for the badges.

 

Like the front bumper, you cut out the ftp?

 

I had cut the front bumper years ago to install CP Racing's Flush-mount Light Kit. It was poor construction and just never fit or looked right. Went back to the stock lights and will be replacing the front bumper with the GP-1 front bumper this summer.

 

Each time I hear about them it make me sick that they even did business.

That fu**** just stole my money plain and simple.

Unfortunately she wasn't taken very good care of before i got my hands on her, and all of this is the result...I have enough money to maintain but not to restore, namely the paint job and a new engine

 

 

Just finished spraying the topcoats yesterday, came out a bit more glossy than I had expected but I'm happy with the results for my first real paint job. I used Eastwood's epoxy and urethane primers and their single stage Rat Rod Satin Black.

 

Just painted and mounted some G35 splash guards, I really like the way it turned out. I also found out I don't have enough patience to be a painter lol.
