Real deal wheels, didn't break on no pot hole here like cast wheels, this was more extreme damage

wheels got repaired at a shop (though refinishing the lip would have been extra), balanced and lived to see another day

incase some one says real wheels break too
, Everything breaks, but they have more strength

I dont know why you guys get offended when we talk down on the knock offs
if you cant speak from experience, than maybe you shouldnt speak
that varrstoen that was cracked from a pothole, was a simulated 3piece wheel that was cast.. Real deal will hold up alot better, again everything breaks but quality holds up.

I know that name brand wheels are better/stronger, you ARE paying 2... 3... 4... times as much of something. I still say that under normal, street driven conditions, almost any brand of wheel is perfectly safe to drive on. I also do understand the idea of supporting the originals (thats why I have enkeis). The fact remains that there are very few wheels that will just randomly "blow up". Most times when a rim gets damaged its because of low tire pressure, or people driving like idiots on the street.
If your going to track your car, don't skimp on anything. That's a no brainier.
And sense this is a pic thread, here is yet another pic of my not so unique FC
(which I would like to get new wheels for lol)
you are right xxr are not knock off but are inexpensive.
A wheel can make or break a cars looks. and inexpensive wheels usually look cheap.
i mean i run rotas on my subbie and they look fine, but you can tell the difference.

That's not entirely true,
513 = Wantanabe
522 = Gravity Gullflame
962 = That classic JDM 5spoke who's name eludes me atm.
502 = Work VS-RS
006 = somewhat VS-XX
I'm not hating on XXR, but it is pretty obvious they heavily "borrow" from other manufacturers designs to varying degrees.
