fresh claret mica.
my girlfriend went to Hawaii for a week to visit family. so as a surprise i decided to respray her car while she was gone.
all work was done by myself in one week.
before
after a lil sanding and bodywork, new fenders jammed and on.
coat of filler primer
after sanding the primer
coat of epoxy sealer
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
basecoat
3 coats of clear
hope she likes it.

i have about 30hrs of my time into it and i have been painting for about 18yrs
i am not really a fan of the color either.i only repainted it that because it was easiest and a rare color. as for the 5lug comment, i already picked up a set of crown vics for it. prob. gonna go with gold centers. just gotta get the 5lug stuff and tires now

you cannot cut single stage metallic. you will sand the peaks of the metallic and it will look like total ****. you can only buff non metallic.
base/clear is the only way to go if you want to fix any mistakes.
