FL Opinions Wanted Re 10th Anniversary Finish Line Accessories

I'm taking delivery of a 10th Anniversary within a few weeks (purchased - just waiting for shipment). The car is in mint shape with only 63K miles. The original owner was the owner of the local Mazda dealership which might explain:

When the car was new he had some of the "Finish Line" accessories installed including:
1. Mud Flaps
2. Wind guard (sunroof)
3. Fog lights

All of these were dealership add ons and wondered your thoughts on this. Also, something that I've never seen before. The "Mazda RX7" emblems on the back of the car are gold and not the typical white. Has anyone ever seen this? I prefer the white/white look but wondered if there's any significance to the gold.

Also, the owner said that the car has never had AC but from my first 10th AE years ago I remember there being AC. He says there's an AC button but that it doesn't actually have AC. Could this be accurate?

I've always been a bit of a purist and like all original but would like your thoughts.

Thanks!

All Anniversary Editions came with AC, so someone pulled it from yours.
Also, AFAIK all logicons have the AC button, regardless of whether the car was factory equipped or not.

I like the factory mudguards, the foglights are useless however.

Thanks. I'm hoping the AC is simply not working and something that I can fix (living in FL it's important). The car has spent it's entire life in Toronto Canada so it might just be that it's never been used.

Post pix of the car, especially the fog lights!!

Also, I've seen european logicons which DID NOT have the A/C button (can post pix).

So, once again I'm wrong and stand corrected.

I dropped off the car at Pettit racing today. Official word from Cam at Pettit is that the the Canada cars didn't have AC for the 10th Anniversary. They also checked my car and no AC components. Guess that's one of the first upgrades I'll be doing. Kind of important here in FL.

Funny thing is that I've always thought of myself as a purist regarding these cars - meaning no mods all stock. And on day 1 I'm looking to add AC.

Actually you're looking to add a factory component. Its not a modification if it was a stock option. It's just a retrofit with original parts! That way it doesn't loose its original value. 10AE offered A/C as an option, some have them in Canada and some don't.
