haha, i know, i realized that when i was masking off, oh well. ill just have to buff the older paint to make it shine similarly to the new paint.

2/24/2010:

un-masked the car finally, installed rear wheel to check wheel fitment after flaring the 1/4's....1" wider lips will sit flush with the outer edge of the 1/4 panel...should be perfect.

the paint will be wet sanded, and the entire car will be buffed in early april....so yes i know there is orange peel, and dust in the paint...its normal.

I say rebuild the turbo since you are gonna port the wastegate. It's actually quite easy and cheap.

the original wastegate port was 13mm, now it is 32mm....so i needed a 34mm flapper door:

the flapper door is stainless steel, 34mm OD, and has a 1mm deep section that is 31.5mm OD, so it sits inside the 32mm wastegate port, to help sealing, and centering.
