Update 5/22/10:

wheels were sealed and set in the sun to cure while buffing.

Next is to mount the tires, and install the moldings...then it needs a detail job.

this last photo is after installing the gas door, and sunroof seal...buffed the entire car, and machine polished it...still needs a foam pad glaze.

been here since day 1...
looking foward to seeing it detailed, with the wheels, and some nice random lighted tunnels or something of that nature where the photoshoot takes place.

update 5/29/2010:

wheels and tires mounted, time to adjust height, and a little rear camber.
the contour of the tire stretch match's the contour of the 1/4 panel pull perfectly, so with a little more rear camber, and about 1/2" lower, it will be a perfect fit that doesn't have a retarded amount of rear camber.

sorry, i didn't think 4 months from start to finish (with a 1 month break in the middle, to build a different car) was a long time.

ill go faster next time.

Are you still running 255's in the rear?

Congrats on the finish, what a car.

234/40 front
255/40 rear

i kept the 255 rear because i wanted the amount of stretch to fit perfectly inside the pull on the 1/4's.

Thanks. There will be more updates. Suspension, and power are my next points of focus. Suspension will be first because there isnt much more to do. Power will consist of collecting a few choice parts to put me into the 350whp club.

This coming winter engine will be pulled for a complete wire harness tuck, relocation of everything, and some fresh black paint in the engine bay.

Stay Tuned.
