Most of the time that type of body work would require a cut out and replace. I applaud your work in repairing that section. Looking good.

Not really. I went and got 3 estimates at the most professional shops around for insurance reasons. Not one of them says anything about replacing the 1/4, or door skin.

They all wrote it up as replace the door, which I did. And repair the 1/4 with a few hours on the frame rack, which i did.

I think there would have to be more damage to require a new 1/4.

A+ on metal shaping skills, man.

Did the accident happen in a parking lot, traffic or a school zone?

I am trying to think when anyone would ever be doing 15 miles an hour.

That is a bad place to be hit, but you are still pretty lucky.........i would have thought it would have been a lot worse.

it was raining, the lady lost control in her chevy tahoe when we took off from a red light, she fish tailed, and by the time we had crossed the intersection, she was sideways in the street, and struck my car.

awesome job, i had those same BBS wheels on my S14. BTW what kind of dollies did you use to get the metal back in shape? I have a tough time reshaping metal in tough bends like yours.

Wow, very nice work, I love the pull on the fenders; I think I may try and replicate that whenever I touch up my front bumper paintwork.

Beautiful repair work also, I opened the 2nd page first, and had no idea it had been hit. Do you work in the industry?
