Scrapping sound when I push clutch switching gears
My 1990 RX7 convertible has a scrapping sound when I push clutch in to shift gears. May scrape at certain points, not through full range when I push clutch. Time for new clutch or just need lubrication?
How many miles on the Clutch? You may have a throw out bearing thats starting to go or possibly an issue with the flutch fork. Best be is going to be dropping the trans and putting eyes on it before you really do anything.

Thank you
Thank you for your insight. Will get my expert Mazda mechanic to examine right away. I love this car and decided not to sell it. It has 100K miles but is going strong. Transmission has been looked at every year without any problems but will examine closer. Wish I were a car mechanic!
