499 here, but it's a rebuild. No idea by who. There's paint pen markings all over the housings/irons. No stepped dowels. Where on the E-Shaft would I find the number?
I am the proud owner of D456, not installed in a car yet.
I haven't opend it up yet, buy a camera inspection through the sparkplug holes revealed a rusty rear rotor. So it will require a overhaul in the future
Just curious what number does you engine have on it?
you will find the number stamped on the front rotor housing.
lets gather some info here on run numbers etc.
it will be either a number or a letter followed by a number.
my number is 454

My 20B is marked C927. The 20B insignia has black paint around it with the 20B raised numbers unpainted.

This thread goes way back. I still have my ‘preserved’ 20B. All three rotor housings are stamped Stamped rotor housings. C927. However, there is supposedly another ‘engine #’ somewhere I’ve never found.
