I thought it was a problem with the eccntric shaft and side housings... and after he got Jeff Bruce to make him a custom shaft, it solved the problems.
I don't see how the intake manifold could cause him to break eccentric shafts and crack side housings... but maybe I just don't know.

One more question about the 98 tranny! Wouldn't the shift pattern of the Japaniese tranny be opposite of he LHD trannys in America? You know like would 5th gear be like 1st gear? Thx

MVA,
Since the placement of the motor doesn't disturb the steering rack, I assume the front of the motor isn't significantly further forward than a standard 13B?
If so, does that mean most of the ancilaries that are forward of the motor such as Intake, IC radiator, oil cooler, A/C could remain stock (or standard aftermarket) FD pieces in stock locations?

Well yea,,you can use all the stock stuff in the front, But lets face it,,once you put a 20B you are goin have to install bigger and better parts, anyway.

(18+25)/2 = 21.5 psi (what you are asking for)
(771+1025) / 2 = 898 rwhp
This is assuming just as good tuning, and a very impressive number to make at that psi, but could be done.

Good job on forecasting what it can do.
Keep in mind the car which made the 771 rwhp is strickly a street setup. About 40% of the people running 13B Single turbo setup runs a larger turbo than unit.
Also, the engine was worked, but not to the extent which is typically offered in the entire package.
With a good engine porting, magic... and a larger turbo, you can expect 30 or so more rwhp at each range, as indicated by Marcos.

Yes, I do realise 771 + 1025 does not equal 898!!!
