I thought it was a problem with the eccntric shaft and side housings... and after he got Jeff Bruce to make him a custom shaft, it solved the problems.

I don't see how the intake manifold could cause him to break eccentric shafts and crack side housings... but maybe I just don't know.

One more question about the 98 tranny! Wouldn't the shift pattern of the Japaniese tranny be opposite of he LHD trannys in America? You know like would 5th gear be like 1st gear? Thx

Interesting! Let me know how that transmission works.

I will be sporting the GuruRacing dog box! Talk about one kick *** unit. Everything looks good on it. I will post results and experience feel in a few weeks when its all said and done with.

There is no difference in the transmission gear patterns between a right or left hand driven car. 1st - 5th are the same, the only difference is the hand you shift with.

Hey Marcos, what would you recommend for a street driven 3rotor car, a large street port or half bridge port

I'm wanting to get 650rwhp on pump gas, I'm having a T78 built for me, I'm not going to be doing much drag racing with it, mostly Viper, Mustang, and C5 highway killing . What else would you suggest?

MVA,
Since the placement of the motor doesn't disturb the steering rack, I assume the front of the motor isn't significantly further forward than a standard 13B?

If so, does that mean most of the ancilaries that are forward of the motor such as Intake, IC radiator, oil cooler, A/C could remain stock (or standard aftermarket) FD pieces in stock locations?

Well yea,,you can use all the stock stuff in the front, But lets face it,,once you put a 20B you are goin have to install bigger and better parts, anyway.

that is my bottom line rwhp on pump gas anything above that is a plus. I'm planning on running 15psi (low boost) and 18psi (high boost) daily, so I'm sure the HP will be more. How much longer on the motor mounts and oild pan

How much power you think it could make at 20-22psi with 94 octane?

Not to speak for Marco, but a customers car with this setup made 771 rwhp @ 18psi and 1025 rwhp @ 25psi.
(18+25)/2 = 21.5 psi (what you are asking for)
(771+1025) / 2 = 898 rwhp

This is assuming just as good tuning, and a very impressive number to make at that psi, but could be done.

Good job on forecasting what it can do.

Keep in mind the car which made the 771 rwhp is strickly a street setup. About 40% of the people running 13B Single turbo setup runs a larger turbo than unit.

Also, the engine was worked, but not to the extent which is typically offered in the entire package.

With a good engine porting, magic... and a larger turbo, you can expect 30 or so more rwhp at each range, as indicated by Marcos.

I forgot to put "/2" after my second calculation.
Yes, I do realise 771 + 1025 does not equal 898!!!
