Down here in NZ I can do that conversion for $15000US easy - this dude is a rip.
You could even FLY your car here get it done and FLY it back and still have money to buy a car to put this stuff into!!!

It's not a rip off considering that is what the going rate is IN THE STATES.
It might be a rip off compared to how much you can do it for in NZ or AU or PR, but that's not where most people on here live, and most of them would not want to go through the hassle of shipping their car.

Laying Down Rotary Law
A: your closer to Japan and have cosmos so 20B motors
are way cheaper.
B: you in NZ and AUS like using diesel turbos
Instead of very nice! but expensive ITS duel BB Turbo
your labor is cheaper etc etc etc etc

Escalade, let's not go there with this thread, Marcos is one of the premier rotary builders in the States, so trying to bash him on this thread is uncall'd for. If you can do the conversion for $15000US then that's wonderful, you should just state that and end it there. We are not on this forum to down talk or to bash fellow Rotorheads. as state'd earlier by Bridgeported and Kabooski, 20B's are not as available as they are in NZ and AUS and there are only a few places here that will even attempt to do the conversion, that's why the price is what it is.

There is no such thing as a "deisel turbo" ... it 'just a turbocharger. As long as the specs are proper, then it will work exactly as good.

Guys, dont worry about these guys trying to bash,,, We have been use to it, Every one always has something to say about other people's work. I just let me customer smile do the talking, when they drive off.. That's all i care about, keeping my customer happy,

America is not the only place in the world... pull your head out, im pretty sure Pac Maztech RotoMaster Dyson (blah blah blah) just maybe ARENT using Detroit or Caterpillar truck turbos to pull 8 sec 1/4's(although ive seen some evil streeters that have). **** we run things down here... I believe Australasia is pullin the biggest times with the best presented cars on this planet.
Sorry to cause **** you guys im sure the conversions are complete quality... just that $$$ will buy you a decent Porsche down here... and yeah we get **** loads of engines and stuff outta Japan for next to nix but ATM I am gettin containers of 2nd gen turbo motors down from USA landed for about US$200ea so was led to believe stuff was plentiful.
EZ all.

Guys, Relax, all the turbo do the same job,,,if it's a truck turbo or not,, I use them both, i see no different , Except one is nicer than the other. But guys a turbo is a turbo, dont let the looks guide you, sometime a truck turbo would work better than a nice Innovative Dual Ball Bearing,, And some times not.....It all Depends what you want to spend on them,, For Example my twin turbo's in my race truck cost me (at my cost) 3,500 dollars each....That is two 70-1 dual ballbearing turbo, with a billect wheel,,,,
