[QUOTE] Give me a break! The car isnt going to get painted until its running decent and i can drive it to TR's house to paint it. Estimation - March 2012. Championship White came on the acura integra type R's for a few years. Not sure about the S2k's [QUOTE]

Lol! I know. We wish this stuff could be done overnight. Good goal. Cars gonna be killer once finished sir!

I have seen a few integras in that color. From a quick search it looks like the S2000s were grand prix white, but looks nearly the same as your championship white.

I also like the painted booster to match. Looks excellent

I love working on the car, sometimes i have more fun working on **** than using it haha! The only integra that is championship white is the Type R unless someone painted one that color. The other color is less bright, but still nice (i had one). I really like how the booster came out, a lot of people seem to really like it

what engine, mods, exhaust diamater is your car? this will have 3" turbo back into that muffler. Nothing else, the turbo will quiet it down though. Im glad you like it! thanks for looking?

I was wondering, should this be in the builds section? I dont care where it is, just wondering.

Yupp, working on it is fun. There are a couple integra type Rs I've seen. There are hondas and integras all over this city. I like my formula white too though .

It will still be loud with just the muffler.

Get used to it. I'm sure 3 months after you get the car back up and running you're gonna be driving down the road and just scream **** and just drive it home and drop the tank again. It'll be something minor, probably forgot to remove some rust in the tank that you said you'd get later and forgot about.

Im guessing that the car will handle a tad better with new... you should of saw the sway bar bushings. Oh and get this, the bushing for the controll arms was missing a piece! The old bushing basically wasnt doing anything haha

^ so nice to be re assembling! can you get the sway bar in with the two pieces bolted to the car that hold it and the stay bars? Or does it have to go in together? I havent tried yet.

I so wish i had more money before DGRR... There are so many things i want before then but just cant budget for. And central air for the house in the spring is a must have... lol

Jesus that looks good.
What's with the spot where the battery tray goes? Looks like it's missing some paint.
I can't remember, but I don't think you can put the sway bar back on without taking the brackets off.
If I were you, either way I would just bolt them back on with the swaybar in them and let it swing out of the way until you need to hook it up.

I smashed my iphone one day on accident, so there is no glass covering the lens. The spot there is just dirt or fuzz on my camera lens. haha

Thats what i thought after i bolted them on yesterday... Atleast I should only have to take one side off.

Thanks for the compliment and for the help!

Wheel locks are now on

Looks a lot whiter in the last pic. Lighting maybe?

Are you worried at all that you filled to many bolt holes in the bay? Like the brake line on the strut tower? I've found a few bolt holes useful for my random things.

Not at all. Im going to make new brake and clutch lines that are more hidden and ride the body/frame rails. Less noticeable anyway, nothing else really goes in there except the motor lol and the FPR bracket will hold the brake and clutch hard line.

I finally got around to pressing my ball joints (and tack welding) and POR'ing all of the suspension components. The only thing i have yet to to to the front subframe components is re-grease the bearings, rebuild/paint the calipers, paint the spindles, and have the rotors turned! I seriously think that i could have it done and all installed tonight! so exciting!

I went with Ford blue for the sway bar and I am also going to paint my springs. Only temporary until i get re-speed bits Id of liked to of gotten the re-speed stuff now, but before i got my car the kid already started some work and had ebay springs and stock replacement shocks installed already. Why change out new parts right?

I got my steering box installed last night and filled with some fresh oil, the old oil was tar like.
Name: frontsuspension007.jpg

Doing that allowed me to get the last few bundles of wires back to where they are supposed to be inside the car.

Wheel wells are undercoated and new looking

and thats where i ran into problems. The previous owner did the front brakes and wheel bearings just before selling the car. He forgot to put the washers back on the bolts for the brake caliper, so the bolt dug into the back of the rotor creating a 1/6" deep x 3/8" wide groove in the back of the rotor... awesome. Good thing that its only on one side and I only need to buy one rotor! I also couldnt get the top nut off of the shock without an impact, so im waiting on that too... I really wanted to have the car rolling by last night

Great progress man!

Can you explain the routing of the vacuum for the brake booster? looks awesome, just curious where it goes.

Also, what do you plan on doing with the Brake lines? I've been wondering about how to do mine to keep it clean with the rest of the tucked look... I see you still have the factory holes in the fenders for the lines to run through, are you using stock lines, or making something a bit cleaner looking?

I'll get my project thread up in the next few days hopefully....

The same thing more or less as what you have done here- full wire tuck/smoothed, but on my LT1 Powered Widebody...

the vac line for the brake booster is getting ran inside the car. I flipped the booster over so the vac line comes out of the bottom and drilled a hole in the firewall just above the steering box for the line to run it. Ill probably use aluminum line for inside the cabin.

As far as the brake lines go, to get the car going im just going to use stock lines. Hopefully everything is finished well before DGRR and i can make new ones. The new ones are still going to run through the stock holes, but they are going to get tucked as much as i can out of site. Where there is nothing to hide them under I'll make them hug the body as much as possible. That easy bending copper brake line they sell will definitely be my friend on that one lol If i would of had the time and extra cash I would of hid the prop valve and all the lines, they can all be ran into the fire wall and mounted inside. I would of much, much rather done that and hid everything, even the clutch line, but time and money didnt allow for it.

I cant wait to see your build and thank you so much for the questions and compliments

Yea, its boxed though. I thought the same thing, but the car used to have a SB Ford and never had any issues.

I still have a factory crossmember I will be using anyways just to play it safe... But it needs to be blasted/painted before I put it in, so leaving this one in for test fitment. =)
