WHERE IS IoTuS?

Anybody know where he is?

He hasn't posted in a while, and I emailed him last week.
I remember he was a little down on his FB, but still...

Is he okay? Did he sell his car? Did he leave to the military?

Just checking up on the kid.

ioTus (Geoff) is fine.

His car is at a fellow RX-7 club member's house, and they've been tinkering on it, but the weather in eastern Washington has been really brutal for at least three weeks now, with the daytime temps from 95 - 105, so they haven't done too much yet.

No worries, mate.

his car is at my house right now, my dads done some cleaning up of the engine bay while we set up piping for his intercooler, and his blow off valve

i've got one of the pipes finished but ran into some issues with work and other obligations and haven't had time to touch it in about three days now, i hope to get it done within the next week

as for geoff, hes just kinda burnt out on his car, just needed to take a break...but just wait til he sees and drives it with the new toys!

Are you going to get it tuned better? Or is Robert still going to go come up there and do it for him?

im going to leave the tuning to robert, i have no idea how to tune that setup and it would take alot of time for me to learn how to do it

he is still going to have the same issues, im not sure how much the intercooler will help with any of that...but who knows maybe his intake temps were way too high and he was gettin detonation....i guess we'll see how it runs pretty soon here

I'm having problems tuning my weber too. But my problem is from VERY cold temps and an intake manifold that flows MUCH better than the normal manifolds. My manifold is COLD to the touch and water condenses on it, at idle and under boost.

That's the nature of the beast. My dell does that too, Sometimes enough to scrap frost off of it.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll have to scrape frost/ice off it once it gets cold here.

I'm alive. But i'm selling the RX eventually. Havent driven it for like a month. Not really into cars much any more.

But i'm fine. I really appreciate the concern!! This is such a great community we have here. Good to know ppl are looking out for ya ;-)

The car should be up and running real good soon. I've got some ideas to help get it into shape. Think i may be on the right track now.
