what a pain

today is my first time that i drive my rx7 in the snow. is a pain in the ***. i was coming out of work today and startred to snow very hard,so i stop until calm down,i never drove my first in the winter so i didn't know. so when did calm down i start drive i cun'd drive more than 5 mile. the tail was all over the place (maibe because the limited slip diff) so from today is gonna be garaged until the winter finish. i learn something ever drive an rx7 on the snow.

Put some weight in the back over the wheels, and then go have fun. 1st gens are fun in the snow. I drove mine for 15 years in Iowa. We are talking serious snow. By the way the LSD actually helps tremendously in the slick stuff. You just need some weight. I use sandbags from the local store.

I prefer straight lead.
I get it by the 25 lb. bag (load for shotguns).

The LSD helps alot in the snow, but the lightweight doesn't.

I drove my FB in a severe snowstorm once to go sledriding, down a very steep hill then back up again. I think I never went more than 5 mph.
You just have to deal with it.

yeah, but anyway is gona stay in the garage, i don't wanna have another pile of rust. the first one i had is was so rusted, that i have to sale it to the yunkyard because the last iwner didn't care of it and the rear left side went inside the car. and i don't want to happened to dis one. so thanks for the advise, but stay in the garage all winter.

The best thing for winter driving in an RX-7 is bald tires. New tires have too much grip.
