the other day i removed the air pump, carb,ac,ac bracket, shrowd and fan and all emitions and clutched fan.the thing is i can turn the main pully with my hand...is this bad..i can hear comprestion but should it be harder to turn? just wondering b/c the only thing on the engine are the manifolds.

yea, its normal. thats how ive been checking motors at junkyards lately on my search. my dad was telling me how if you cant turn it, thast not a good sign, and turn it to hear the suction through the intake, then take off the manifold and feel to see if all the apex seals are there.
I can't turn mine at all...even with all 4 plugs out. What's that mean? I'm a decent sized guy, I bench 190 lbs 45 times in 3 sets every night. Why the hell can't I turn it? The motor runs good but I have it running a little rich to compensate for high boost.

Sparks plugs shouldn't matter. Rotaries generate next to no compression at such low speeds. Typically you should be able to turn it over with finger pressure on the alternator pulley.
This is why making sure your battery cables and battery are always in good condition is so vitally important... if the engine cranks too slowly it won't generate enough compression to fire, and you end up flooding.

Cheapie,, your talking about turning it over with the spark plugs still in correct?
Yes that is correct. It turns so easy that I ran over my foot when I was taking the fan off in gear. I also half to always remember to use the parking brake in my driveway, or it will roll down hill. It feels like an engine with no pistons. Oh, wait, it is.

wow, you guys must be pretty ******* strong. With the plugs in my 4 port turbo engine, it's rather difficult to turn the engine by hand from the front pully. It can be done, but I wouldn't call it an easy task.
With the plugs out, on the other hand... lets just say I've got an engine sitting on its flywheel that I can spin like a top.... hehehehhehehe
