Tach and cold weather.
My tach doesn't seem to work at all until the engine warms up a bit, is this normal? (It's presently 20 degrees outside, and the tach works fine when it's warmer.)

Mine did the same thing on the few cold morning i drove it to work in november. As the car got warmer inside and under the hood it would come back to life. Not really sure what causes it but I didnt really mind. I drive by sound anyway. Just shift when the buzzer goes off, youll be fine lol

I have noticed this as well when the temperature drops blow 20*to 30*c, mine doesn't move till it warms up IE motor or interior temperature. 
I have also wondered if there is a remedy for this. just gives me a reason not to drive till the thermostat opens or choke drops
